Day 1
Hotel check-in is 3:30 p.m. Baggage storgae is available for early arrivals. Our welcome meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.

Day 7
Return transportation to the Nashvile Airport is included. Please plan for airline departures leaving after 3:30 p.m.

A Quilt-Lovers Dream
Imagine the thrill of arriving at the AQS quilt show in Paducah, before the crowds! You’ll enjoy a "Sneak Preview" of the show and have an opportunity to shop the vendors prior to the official opening. Wow! Just a short ride away from our hotel is downtown Paducah, where brick streets are overflowing with quilters from around the world who are here to celebrate Quilts. Don’t wai
t! This tour fills quickly.

Day 1 - Southern Hospitality!
Our tour begins in Nashville, Tennessee, and whether you choose to arrive early the first day or several days prior to the tour, you’ll find plenty to see and do in the Nashville area.

Our Welcome Meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. allowing for convenient arrival and dinner on your own. This evening we'll meet our friendly tour director and traveling companions who will share in this memorable journey. (Welcome Meeting)

Day 2 - Glitz and Grandaddy
Rise and shine, for an exciting day awaits as we head north to the bustling city of Paducah, Kentucky, for an opportunity to shop ahead of the crowds at the original Hancock Fabric Store, advertised as the largest fabric store in the nation. This cavernous warehouse stocks thousands of fabrics for sewing and decorating, notions, books, trims, patterns, gifts, ribbons, rugs, trims, batting…and great “Sale” tables.

Our shopping bags full, we’ll check into the our hotel, our home for the remainder of the tour.

Later get ready for a “Sneak-Preview” of this year’s legendary AQS Quilt Show and vendors before it officially opens to the public. (C. Breakfast)

Day 3 - Show Time!
Today the American Quilters Society is celebrating the official opening of their annual quilt show and contest. At the AQS Show, hundreds of quilts are on display, along with the offerings of a myriad of merchant booths. You'll shop for everything from antique quilts to wearables, to books, to crafting and sewing supplies, sewing machines, yard goods, linens, buttons and trims, patterns--a seemingly endless array of great items!

You can enjoy the show at your own pace throughout our stay here. Our accommodations & transportation allow you to relax anytime, or catch up with what’s new on your room’s private quilt channel...ahh heaven! (C. Breakfast) (Dinner)

Day 4 - Quilt City - USA
Experience the show at your leisure today, or you may wish to explore QUILT CITY U.S.A. where a short stroll away, you’ll find many of the shops have joined in the town-wide celebration. Storefronts, whether it be the old 5 & 10 cent store or the candy emporium, are decorated with quilts. This charming, turn-of-the-century town is bursting with excitement as quilters and crafters from all over the world converge at this once-a-year celebration. There are trolley rides, sidewalk sales, church bazaars and people everywhere smiling, thrilled to be part of all this hoopla! But quilting is only the beginning as this historic Victorian town is a shopper's paradise! Within easy walking distance, you'll delight in shop after shop filled with treasure--antiques and collectibles, boutiques, and fabric shops. (C. Breakfast)

Day 5 - Fabulous Quilts & Fancy Notions

We’ve included admission to the AQS Quilt Museum, which can be used at your leisure anytime throughout your stay. The Museum of the A.Q.S., is the largest museum of its kind in the world, and the only national quilt museum dedicated to honoring today’s quilter. A total resource for today's quiltmaker and admirer, this 30,000 square foot building houses three climate-controlled galleries showcasing over 200 quilts.

This afternoon we’ll see the annual AQS Hobbs Fashion Show & Contest. You’ll see designers compete for more than $10,000 in prizes as they model their quilted ensembles, and reveal their specialized techniques.

This evening, get ready for an unforgettable musical revue with the "one and only" Ricky Timms. (C, Breakfast)


Day 6 - Paducah Patchworks
This morning we'll be visiting the annual Rotary Club Quilt Show, where a specially coordinated collection of approximately 40 antique quilts is displayed. The show also features a group of selected vendors for discriminating shoppers.

Then get ready for an exciting afternoon with the "All-Star Review". where you'll learn the latest techniques from this years top instructors. (C. Breakfast) (Dinner)

Day 7 - Caryl Bryer Fallert
A great day awaits, beginning with a private lecture by noted author/designer Caryl Bryer Fallert. Caryl will share her
magical methods for free-form piecing and dyeing fabric, in this fun and informative program.

Although our journey together will come to an end this
afternoon, we hope to have enriched your life with a brand new “patchwork” of fond memories and friends. (C. Breakfast)

Please note that we will adjust our itinerary if the AQS makes any schedule changes to the All Star Review or the Hobbs Fashion Show.
