Day 1

Memphis – Tour Begins

Arrive in Memphis and check into Graceland Guest House, our home for two nights in the heart of Elvis’s Graceland. Meet our tour director at the Evening Welcome Meeting.

Day 2

After breakfast (included daily), visit the Cotton Museum in the historic Memphis Cotton Exchange for a look at the city’s history, then board the nation’s only music bus for a Memphis Mojo Tour, a 2-hour musical journey guided by a professional Beale Street musician who’ll play and sing while sharing behind-the-scenes stories from the city’s rich musical heritage. After downtown lunch on your own, see Elvis’s pink Cadillac, iconic outfits and gold records on a Graceland Elvis Experience Tour. Dinner tonight is included.

Day 3

Memphis – Fort Smith

We’re off to Fort Smith, Arkansas and the outer limits of the Ozark National Forest. As we journey across this pastoral country side, we’ll stop for a very special visit at P. Allen Smith’s Moss Mountain Farm. Our private tour of the Garden Home Retreat at Moss Mountain Farm will visit Allen’s main residence, guest cottage, vegetable garden and surrounding ornamental gardens. After shopping for home-wares in the well-appointed gift shop, well continue on to our hotel for a one night stay. B

Day 4

Fort Smith – Betonville – Branson

Following breakfast, we’ll visit Miss Laura’s Social Club to learn about the colorful past of this Victorian mansion listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Next, we travel to Bentonville where after lunch on your own, well visit the Walmart Museum to learn about the massive mega-mart’s very humble hometown beginnings.  You’ll have time to shop at the Walton 5 & 10 before we depart for Branson, Missouri.    B, D

Day 5

It’s opening day at the American Quilters Society’s new QuiltWeek Branson. Spend the entire day admiring hundreds of quilts on display and shopping for antique quilts, wearable art, books, craft and sewing supplies, fabrics, buttons, trims, patterns and more at the indoor vendor mall! B

Day 6

Return to the show at leisure (your ticket is included), join a pre-booked class or explore Downtown Branson. From the old 5&10 to the candy shop, windows throughout this turn-of-the-century town are decorated with quilts. This afternoon we will visit beautiful Eureka Springs and the must-see Crystal Bridges Museum. Tonight exchange addresses with your new travel friends at our savory Farewell Dinner. B, D

Day 7

Branson – Tour Ends

This morning, visit QuiltWeek Branson one last time, just in case there’s room left in that suitcase! Later, swap addresses with new friends before our afternoon airport transfer to begin the journey home. B
