Tokyo
Begin your exploration of Tokyo at the Imperial Palace, the residence of Japan’s Emperor. Experience the spiritual heritage of the city at Asakusa Sensoji, Tokyo’s oldest temple. Meander through the lively Nakamise Street, a shopping haven since the 1500s. Get hands-on experience with Kimekomi Doll making, a cherished craft in Japan. Later, wander the lanes of Nippori textile town, a paradise for anyone passionate about fabrics, patterns, and notions. Tokyo
Following breakfast, make your way to Shinjuku, a hub for kimono fabric dyeing. Explore the bustling streets filled with Japanese textile products and local crafts. Later, attend a stencil workshop at a historic dyeing studio, where you’ll get to work with traditional kimono floral patterns. Spend the evening at your leisure, soaking in the vibrant nightlife of Tokyo, where you can experience the city’s energetic pace firsthand. B

Tokyo – Lake Kawaguchi – Hakone
Today, you’ll visit the Itchiku Kubota Museum, a tribute to the man who breathed life back into the ancient silk-dyeing technique for kimonos. Leaving the museum’s serene location on Lake Kawaguchi behind, brace yourself for a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji as you head to Hakone. Once in Hakone, enjoy a traditional Kaiseki dinner and a soothing hot spring bath, a quintessential Japanese experience that will rejuvenate your spirit. B, D

Hakone – Nagoya
After a leisurely breakfast, embark on a scenic journey to Nagoya, with stunning views of Suruga Bay. Stop for picturesque moments along the way, capturing the breathtaking coastal landscapes. Nagoya – Kyoto
