Travel With Confidence

Solo Travelers Welcome
Traveling solo doesn’t mean traveling alone. Because our guests share a common interest in quilting, you’ll immediately feel as if you are traveling with friends. We start every tour with a Welcome Meeting, and schedule informal get-togethers that make our tours extra special and fun. You’ll find our tours are not only filled with special people, but special events too. Choose single accommodations for a private room, or our Guaranteed Share Program and we’ll arrange a roommate for you.
Guaranteed Share Program
Traveling Solo? If you want to share a room to save money or for companionship, choose our Guaranteed Share Program and we’ll arrange a roommate for you. If we can’t find you a roommate, you’ll travel in a single room, at no additional cost – GUARANTEED.
Guaranteed Departures
Our tours are 100% confirmed to depart and will not be cancelled due to lack of participation. Now that’s peace of mind.
Guaranteed Pricing

The price you see is the price you pay. No hidden fees, no optional extras, no hidden taxes.

Booking & Trip Preparation

How far in advance can I / should I book?
We encourage you to make your reservation just as early as possible – especially if you are limited to the time period in which you can travel. Country Heritage Tours journeys are popular and tend to fill quickly.
How do I make a reservation?
Once you have found a journey that interests you, you can use the “Reserve Now” button located on the tour page. You can also contact us at (603) 673-0640 with any questions and to make your reservation with us over the phone.
Do I need a passport and a visa?
When traveling outside the United States, a passport is required for U.S. citizens and many countries require that the passport be valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel. Some countries also require a visa.
Do you offer trip insurance?
Travel insurance is available to cover trip cancellation, accident, illness, and baggage. Information regarding travel insurance will be included at time of booking.
What is included on Country Heritage Tours journeys?
Just about everything! Virtually every travel expense is included in one up-front price – airport transfers as specified in the itinerary, all hotel accommodations, entertainment, meals as specified in the itinerary, customary farewell dinner, land transportation, sightseeing, luggage handling, CHT Tour Managers, services of local guides and more. Many meals are included on Country Heritage Tours journeys. Dining is a delightful and integral part of the experience – and that is why we select restaurants that offer a true taste of each region you visit. Some meals are full a la carte, some may be limited a la carte, and some may be from a set menu or buffet.
What is not included in the tour price?
The tour price does not include transportation to our starting city (unless otherwise noted), hotel transfers, customary end of trip gratuities for your Tour Director, driver, local guides, meals not listed as included, phone access charges, and any incidental charges.
Is there assistance available for guests that need special assistance?
Country Heritage Tours regrets that it cannot provide individual assistance to a guest for walking, wheelchairs, motorized scooters, dining or other personal needs. Guests needing such assistance must be accompanied by an able companion who will assist them.
When will I receive my final travel documents?
Travel documents, including any air tickets, itineraries, and other information, are available approximately four weeks prior to departure provided full payment has been received.
Are there any group discounts?
Our group discounts begin at 10 paid passengers. Please call for more information.
Can Country Heritage Tours book additional hotel nights for me?
If you wish to arrive before our tour starts or stay after our tour concludes, you will be personally responsible for making hotel arrangements.

On Tour

Are hotel transfers included?
Because tour members frequently arrive at different times and on different days, transportation to the starting hotel is not included unless otherwise stated. Information on public limousine, taxi, and ride app service will be included with your final documents.
Where do I meet my Tour Manager?
Your tour begins at the starting hotel on the first night at our Welcome Meeting. You will meet your Tour Manager who will provide details relating to your tour. The hotel address and phone number will be included with your documents.
How active are the tours?
Our journeys are moderately paced with occasional free time for relaxation. Trips may include some early morning hotel departures and extended motor coach travel. Depending on the destination, tours may include climbing some stairs and walking for up to an hour over uneven pavement, or cobblestones with intermittent periods of standing.
How many pieces of luggage can I bring?
Baggage handling for one suitcase is included in the vacation price. Airport/train station porterage is not included unless otherwise specified in your travel documents. Due to limited motorcoach capacity, your single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30″x21″x11″ and weight not exceeding 50lbs (22kg). Carry-on bags must be small enough to store in overhead bins or under the seat in front of you on motorcoaches and other transportation.
Do you accommodate special diets?
