Because tour members frequently arrive at different time and sometimes on different days, transportation to the hotel that serves as our tour point of departure is not included unless otherwise stated. We will provide you with transfer options which will be included with your pre-departure documents.
Our tours are planned a year or more in advance. Right up to the day that a tour begins, Country Heritage Tours, Inc. strives to improve each itinerary. If conditions beyond our control necessitate changes, we reserve the right to vary itineraries, change hotels and to substitute the best alternatives available. During local or national holidays certain features may be limited. In such instances and whenever possible, itinerary adjustments and substitutions are made to ensure a great experience.
On tours where baggage handling is included, you may bring one large suitcase, as well as a small carry-on bag that must fit under your seat. For extra luggage, an additional fee will be assessed to cover bellpersons’ tips and hotel charges. There is no charge for carry-on luggage, for which you will be responsible. Country Heritage Tours, Inc. cannot be responsible, assume liability, or accept claims for lost or damage to luggage due to breakage, theft, or fair wear and tear through hotel and carrier handling.
Travel on all Country Heritage Tours, Inc. vacations is by scenic motorcoach. All coaches are air-conditioned and are equipped with a restroom. For your convenience, travel days include rest stops and meal stops. A seat rotation policy is followed to allow every traveler an equal opportunity for viewing the sights.
On occasion, a double accommodation may consist of one stationary bed and one pull-out couch or rollaway bed. Country Heritage Tours, Inc. does not offer triple accommodations.
The tour price does not include transportation to our starting city, personal items such as additional food or beverage orders, room service, valet or laundry service, meals not listed as “included,” phone access charges, or tipping for personal services not part of the tours included features.
Country Heritage Tours, Inc. maintains a no smoking policy in all hotels and on the motorcoach.
Gratuities are included for all bellpersons and wait staff who serve you as part of the tour itinerary. Gratuities for step-on guides in individual cities can be offered at the time of service. The traditional end-of-trip gratuities to your Tour Manager(s) and motorcoach driver are not included. If you feel your Tour Manager(s) or driver helped you to enjoy your Country Heritage Tours, Inc. experience, you may extend gratuity personally and individually at the conclusion of the tour.
Our tours are active tours. If you enjoy walking, you will enjoy a Country Heritage Tours, Inc. vacation. All tour participants should be in good health and comfortable with a moderate amount of walking. Country Heritage Tours, Inc. cannot provide special individual assistance to tour participants with special needs for walking or other routine activities. Tour participants who require physical assistance should be accompanied by a helper, who will be responsible for providing assistance. Country Heritage Tours, Inc. is subject to the policies of suppliers of facilities, accommodations, and transportation carriers, none of which are owned, leased or operated by Country Heritage Tours, Inc.

Whether you bring something from home, a purchase made on the tour, a favorite technique, or a work in progress, it’s a great opportunity for sharing and fun. Our objective is to make your vacation memorable and fun. To ensure the congeniality of all and the smooth, efficient operation of the tour, we reserve the right to refuse a reservation or withdraw from a tour any person who we determine disturbs the integrity of the tour.
You’ll appreciate our extra care in meal planning. We’ll provide some meals to enjoy with your group, as well as opportunities to sample local fare on your own. Because food reflects culture, we often feature regional specialties. We regret that we are unable to provide special meals for those with dietary restrictions.

Pre-departure Travel Information
We’ll send you information in advance to help you plan a perfect vacation. We’ll let you know what kind of weather to expect, what clothes to pack, and how much to budget for meals and gratuities not included in the tour. We’ll also send you information about special events, a list of hotels to leave with family or friends, a detailed itinerary, and transfer information for our starting and ending hotels.
Getting to our Starting Point
Because our tours originate in different cities throughout the world, transportation to the originating city and starting hotel is not included in the tour price unless otherwise stated.
Guaranteed Share Program
If you want to share a room to save money or for companionship, let us know at least 60 days before your tour departs and we’ll arrange a roommate for you. If we can’t find you a roommate, we guarantee you’ll travel in a single room, at no additional cost.
Unless otherwise stated, all prices are per person, based on double occupancy, for specific room categories and subject to availability at time of booking on selected departure dates. Airfare, transfers, port charges and government fees are not included unless otherwise specified. Rates are valid at time of publication and/or posting to the internet. Offers are capacity controlled and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. Some restrictions and blackout periods may apply. Country Heritage Tours, Inc. is not responsible for errors of omission or information that may occur as a result of the transfer of information from selected third parties, technical or human error.
Country Heritage Tours, Inc. of Amherst, New Hampshire, acts only as an agent for all suppliers of services offered in its tours and does so upon the express condition and agreement that it shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay irregularity, or expense arising from strikes, war, weather, quarantines, sickness, government restriction, or regulations from any act or omission of any individual, firm, or corporation furnishing transportation, sightseeing, hotel accommodations, or any service in connection with such travel plan, or from any other cause whatsoever in connection therewith. In the event a passenger is delayed from joining the tour at its starting point, it becomes the sole financial responsibility of the passenger to catch up with the tour.
By signing up for a Country Heritage Tour, Inc. vacation, you agree that any dispute concerning, relating, or referring to this contract, the brochure, CountryHeritageTours.com, or any other literature concerning your trip, or the trip itself, shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration according to the then existing rules of the American Arbitration Association in New Hampshire. Payment of the deposit to Country Heritage Tours, Inc. constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Participants may be photographed or videoed for the purpose of promoting Country Heritage Tours, Inc. Payment of the deposit to Country Heritage Tours, Inc. constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Country Heritage Tours, Inc. will not disclose or sell any of your personal information, including your name, address, credit-card number, shopping, or transaction history to any third party except as to what may be required by law.

A $200.00 deposit per person guarantees your reservation. Reservations may be made securely on our website, www.CountryHeritageTours.com or you may call us to reserve by phone. County Heritage Tours, Inc. accepts all major credit cards. You may alternatively mail a check deposit. Following receipt of your deposit, you’ll receive a confirmation letter with all the information necessary to schedule your arrival and departure. Domestic Itineraries: All balances are due 90 days prior to the tour departure date. International Itineraries: All balances are due 100 days prior to the tour departure date. Following receipt of the final balance, and 4 weeks prior to tour departure, you will receive the final Pre-Departure travel information.
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in a costly process of letters, toll calls, adjustments, refunds, etc. plus a loss of revenue if time does not permit resale of the lost reservation. To offset these costs, the following fees apply. In fairness to others, we cannot make exceptions.

- 45 – 16 days prior to departure: 50% of tour price

- 100 – 46 days prior to departure: 30% of tour price

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is not included in the tour price?The tour price does not include transportation to our starting city, hotel transfers, customary end of trip gratuities for your Tour Director, driver, local guides, meals not listed as included, phone access charges, and any incidental charges. Can Country Heritage Tours book additional hotel nights for me? If you wish to arrive before our tour starts or stay after our tour concludes, you will be personally responsible for making hotel arrangements. Do I need a passport? You will require a passport valid for six months past your tour date for trips outside your country of citizenship. Do you rotate seats on tours? Seats are rotated onboard the motor coach for all Country Heritage Tours trips under the direction of the Tour Manager. Unfortunately exceptions cannot be made. Where do I meet my Tour Manager? Your tour begins at the starting hotel on the first night at our Welcome Meeting. You will meet your Tour Manager who will provide details relating to your tour. The hotel address and phone number will be included with your documents. Are hotel transfers included? Because tour members frequently arrive at different times and on different days, transportation to the hotel, which serves as our starting point, is not included unless otherwise stated. Information on public limousine and taxi service will be included with your final documents. Do you accommodate special diets? We regret that we are unable to provide special meals for those with dietary restrictions. How many pieces of luggage can I bring? Are triple accommodations available?We regret that triple accommodations are not available on Country Heritage Tours trips. Do you offer a group discount?Group discounts are available. What is your smoking policy? Country Heritage Tours motor coaches maintain a no smoking policy. How can I be best prepared for the physical requirements on a Country Heritage tour? Physical requirements vary by itinerary. Some of the most unique sightseeing can mean accessing locations that restrict motor coaches, especially in historic areas. For your comfort, we recommend packing walking shoes so you fully enjoy every aspect of your vacation. Do I need to bring my own hairdryer? Most of our hotels have hairdryers in the room. Do you offer trip insurance? Travel insurance is available to cover trip cancellation, accident, illness and baggage. Information regarding travel insurance will be included with your confirmation letter.
