Next, delve into the roots of American music at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, often called “Nashville’s Smithsonian.” Afterward, enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the legendary Grand Ole Opry, stepping beyond the ropes for an exclusive backstage experience. Today we head northwest to the welcoming town of Paducah, Kentucky, a UNESCO Creative City and beloved destination for quilting enthusiasts. Enjoy early access to Hancock’s of Paducah, a famous fabric store with thousands of bolts, books, trims, and more. Once in Paducah, check in to your riverfront hotel—ideally situated near the QuiltWeek expo center. This evening, enjoy exclusive preview access to QuiltWeek Paducah before it opens to the public. B
Today marks the official opening of QuiltWeek Paducah, presented by the American Quilter’s Society. Prepare to be inspired by hundreds of stunning quilts on display, from traditional to contemporary. Visit curated exhibitions, shop the expansive merchant mall, and explore the artistry that makes this event so special. This evening, enjoy a warm dinner at a beloved local gem known for its hearty Southern fare. B, D

Outside the expo, downtown Paducah comes alive with sidewalk sales, church bazaars, and local cafes offering special treats.
