DAY 1:

Welcome to Nashville, Tennessee, where you’ll find plenty to see and do in the famous Music City. This evening, enjoy meeting your friendly Tour Manager and travel companions at our Welcome Meeting.

DAY 2:

We’re off to Paducah, Kentucky, to shop ahead of the crowds at the original Hancock’s of Paducah fabric store, advertised as the nation’s largest. The cavernous warehouse stocks thousands of fabrics plus notions, books, trims, patterns … and great “Sale” tables. We’ll check our waterfront hotel just steps away from the granddaddy of all quilt shows. Tonight enjoy a sneak preview of legendary QuiltWeek Paducah and its vendors before it opens to the public. B

DAY 3:

It’s opening day at the American Quilter’s Society show and contest!  Spend it admiring hundreds of quilts on display and shopping for antique quilts, wearable art, books, craft and sewing supplies, fabrics, buttons, trims, patterns … and more! B

DAY 4:

Return to the show at your leisure, join a pre-booked class, or explore Quilt City USA where shops join in a townwide celebration. From the old 5&10 to the candy shop, windows throughout this turn-of-the-century town are decorated with quilts.  Join quilters and crafters from around the world for trolley rides, sidewalk sales, church bazaars, and shopping for local crafts, antiques and collectibles. B, D

DAY 5:

Ready for more? The annual Rotary Quilt Show displays about 40 antique quilts, with vendors carefully selected for discriminating shoppers. During your afternoon at leisure, visit the National Quilt Museum (your admission is pre-paid), which showcases over 200 historically significant quilts. B

DAY 6:

Arriving back in Nashville, a panoramic tour of Music City reveals the famed Music Row to let you witness historic RCA Studio B,  Ryman Auditorium, Centennial Park and the Parthenon. Later visit the Country Music Hall of Fame where its unrivaled, two million-item collection preserves the enduring beauty of country music.  Afterward, enjoy a private tour of RCA Studio B.  Tonight, celebrate the trip with your new friends at our Farewell Dinner. B, D

DAY 7:

Our morning tour of the famed Gaylord Opryland Resort showcases its massive domed conservatories where winding, tree-draped pathways lead past waterfalls and meandering waterways. Over two acres of conservatory gardens are devoted solely to tropical plants surrounding the waterfall that cascades into a 12,000-square-foot indoor lake. You’ll have time to enjoy lunch at one of the al fresco-style restaurants, or a take a leisurely cruise on a winding river through tropical gardens before departing for the airport and your trip home.
