Embrace the vibrant energy as we kick off our thrilling adventure in legendary Music City, Nashville, Tennessee. Our downtown hotel is just steps from the honky-tonks and lively bars that define this country music haven. At our evening Welcome Meeting, connect with your fellow travel companions and spirited Tour Manager. Get a good night’s rest as excitement awaits in the coming days.

DAY 2

Nashville

Embark on an exhilarating city tour of Nashville, discovering the iconic landmarks of famous country music legends. Our local guide unveils the stories and highlights of historic Riverfront Park, Ryman Auditorium, and RCA Studio B. Next, delve into the rich legacy of country music at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Known as “Nashville’s Smithsonian,” the museum’s unparalleled 2-million-item collection captures the essence and cultural significance of country music. Your evening is free to explore Nashville’s culinary scene at your leisure or attend a live performance at one of the city’s famous venues. B

DAY 3

Nashville – Paducah

Get ready for the excitement of the ultimate quilt show as we depart for renowned Paducah, Kentucky. Enjoy early access to the original Hancock’s of Paducah Fabric Store, known as the nation’s largest. The spacious warehouse offers thousands of bolts of luxurious fabrics, as well as notions, books, trims, patterns, and fantastic sale tables. Later, discover Paducah’s charming downtown and its rich history before checking into our riverfront hotel, just steps from the quilt show’s main expo center. Tonight, indulge in exclusive sneak preview access to the legendary QuiltWeek Paducah before it opens to the public, giving you a first look at the stunning exhibits. B

DAY 4

Paducah

Join the American Quilter’s Society in celebrating the opening of QuiltWeek! Spend your day admiring the stunning quilts on display, browsing curated exhibitions, and shopping for wearable art, books, craft and sewing supplies, fabrics, buttons, trims, patterns, and more at the impressive merchant mall. Participate in hands-on workshops to expand your quilting skills. Tonight, savor a home-cooked supper infused with Southern hospitality at Patti’s 1880’s Settlement, a historic and picturesque dining destination. B, D

DAY 5

Paducah

Return to the show at your leisure with your multiday admission to continue admiring quilts, join a pre-booked class, or explore Quilt City USA, where downtown Paducah shops participate in the town-wide celebration. Connect with quilters from around the world as you enjoy trolley rides, sidewalk sales, church bazaars, and homemade strawberry shortcake. From pop-up fabric stores to pie and candy shops, the festive window displays throughout this charming town warmly welcome quilters. End the day with a leisurely stroll along the Paducah Riverwalk, admiring the murals that depict the city’s storied past. B

DAY 6

Paducah

Craving more? The celebration continues on a guided tour of Paducah’s flood wall murals. These vibrant works, painted by the renowned Dafford Muralists, capture Paducah’s rich history as a UNESCO Creative City. Next, use your included admission to the National Quilt Museum to admire their collection of over 600 quilts and learn about the art of quilt-making. Tonight, sample local cuisine at our Jazz Band Farewell Dinner before settling in for a captivating Ricky Tims Special Event Performance, a perfect way to conclude our quilt-filled adventure. B, D

DAY 7

Paducah – Nashville – Tour Ends

As we return to Nashville, visit the enchanting Opryland Resort’s massive domed conservatories on a guided walking tour. Stroll through winding, tree-draped pathways, past waterfalls and meandering waterways, taking in the lush scenery. After an independent lunch at one of the resort’s delightful restaurants, it’s time to swap addresses with your newfound friends and cherish the memories you’ve created together. We’ll then make our way to the airport, where you’ll begin your journey home, invigorated by your extraordinary adventure. B
