Upon arrival in Johannesburg,South Africa, meet your Tour Manager and fellow travel companions who will shafre this journey with you.  Our group transfer and check in at our starting hotel is seamless, allowing you to enjoy a much welcomed hot dinner before tucking in for the evening for a well deserved sleep.

Day 2 Johannesburg, South Africa - Kasane - Safari Lodge Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Welcome to Johannesburg, where your African adventure begins. After arriving, we’ll head into the city for a meaningful introduction to South Africa’s history with a visit to the Apartheid Museum (or Mandela House, depending on the day). This powerful experience sets the tone for the journey ahead. A panoramic tour reveals the energy and contrasts of this dynamic city before we arrive at our five-star hotel. Settle in, relax, and enjoy a warm welcome dinner as we begin our journey together.

Day 3 Johannesburg – Kasane – Safari Lodge Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

This morning, we fly north to Kasane, Botswana—your gateway to the African wilderness. From here, a private boat transfer carries you through serene waterways alive with birdlife. Keep watch for hippos and crocodiles along the riverbanks as you glide toward your lodge. Nestled in nature, your accommodations offer a peaceful retreat where the sounds of the wild replace the noise of everyday life. Dinner this evening is served under African skies.

Day 4 Chobe National Park Safari Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today brings your first full safari experience in Chobe National Park, home to one of the largest elephant populations in Africa. Set out on a thrilling 4×4 game drive, where each turn may reveal elephants, giraffes, buffalo, or antelope. After time to relax at the lodge, we’ll venture out again—this time by private boat along the Chobe River. Watch wildlife gather at the water’s edge as the golden light of late afternoon casts a magical glow across the landscape.

Day 5 Impalila Island & Zambezi River Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Cross into Namibia this morning to visit a traditional village on Impalila Island. Here, you’ll experience the rhythms of daily life and gain insight into local customs and culture. After returning to the lodge for lunch, we set out on a private boat excursion along the legendary Zambezi River. Vast, untamed, and breathtakingly beautiful, this iconic waterway offers unforgettable scenery. This evening, gather for storytelling and shared moments that bring the spirit of the region to life.

As evening falls, take in your first views of this vast and tranquil lake—where water, sky, and wilderness meet.

Day 8 Matusadona National Park Safari Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Wake to the gentle rhythm of the lake before heading out on a 4×4 safari in Matusadona National Park, a remote and pristine wilderness accessible only by water. Elephants, hippos, and a wide variety of birdlife call this place home. Return to the ship for lunch as we cruise through this striking landscape. Later, a private boat excursion brings you closer to the shoreline, where wildlife gathers in the soft light of late afternoon.

This morning, we disembark and visit the impressive Kariba Dam, an engineering marvel with a story as powerful as the river itself. A scenic flight brings us to Victoria Falls, where the Zambezi River continues its dramatic journey. Enjoy a relaxing lunch cruise upstream before settling into your hotel. The afternoon is yours to unwind—perhaps by the pool—before gathering for dinner.

Our journey concludes with a guided walk to one of the world’s most awe-inspiring natural wonders—Victoria Falls.
