After breakfast, discover the sweet side of Switzerland, indulge in delicious treats at the Lindt Chocolate Museum, after stroll through storybook Lucerne, crossing the iconic Chapel Bridge and soaking in views of Lake Lucerne. A perfect blend of culture, beauty, and indulgence.

Day 3 Zurich – Titisee Breakfast

Your day begins with a behind-the-scenes tour of the Bernina Factory, where Swiss precision and sewing excellence come to life. Feel the hum of craftsmanship and get inspired by the machines that bring quilts to life. After, we’ll cross borders into Germany and travel through the enchanting Black Forest, a landscape stitched with pine-covered hills, charming villages, and winding roads straight out of a storybook. Let the scenery spark your imagination as we make our way to the lakeside town of Titisee, where our hotel by the water offers rest, reflection, and maybe even time for a few stitches of your own.

 

Day 4 Titisee – Colmar Breakfast, Dinner

After a peaceful morning in the Black Forest, we journey through rolling hills and scenic countryside as we cross into Alsace, France. The landscape unfolds like a patchwork quilt—vineyards, villages, and fields in perfect harmony. Our destination is the picture-perfect town of Colmar, known for its half-timbered houses, flower-filled windows, and fairy-tale atmosphere. Upon arrival, we’ll hop aboard a mini train ride that winds through the historic center, offering a delightful overview of the town’s most charming sights—without missing a stitch. Afterward, enjoy free time to explore boutiques, sip Alsatian wine, or find inspiration around every colorful corner. As the day winds down, you’ll have time to relax and prepare for tomorrow’s first day at the Carrefour European Patchwork Meeting.

Today, we return to the Patchwork Meeting, festivaly spread across four charming villages—each with even more to discover. Wander through new exhibit locations, revisit favorites from yesterday, and take your time with the pieces that speak to you most. This is the perfect moment to pick up any special fabrics, notions, or unique finds that caught your eye. Soak in the creative spirit, connect with fellow quilters, and let the inspiration linger as you collect both memories and mementos to take home.

This morning, we board a high-speed train to Paris, watching the picturesque French countryside blur into motion as we head toward the enchanting City of Light. Upon arrival, we’ll float gently along the Seine on a scenic river cruise, passing legendary sights like Notre-Dame, the Louvre, and the Eiffel Tower—an unforgettable way to experience Paris. Next, visit the magnificent Musée d’Orsay, where works by Monet, Degas, Van Gogh, and more await inside a beautifully restored Beaux-Arts train station. As evening falls, the city is yours to explore: shop chic boutiques, sip wine at a sidewalk café, or indulge in classic French cuisine at a cozy bistro.
