Day 2 San Antonio Breakfast

After breakfast, dive into the city’s storied past with a guided tour led by a local expert. Visit the peaceful Mission San José, then wander through the vibrant El Mercado, where bakeries and boutiques overflow with handmade goods and tempting treats. Stand in awe at the legendary Alamo as your guide brings Texas history to life. This afternoon, relax on a private narrated riverboat cruise through the scenic Paseo del Rio, then enjoy an evening at leisure along San Antonio’s iconic River Walk.

Day 3 San Antonio – Fredericksburg Breakfast

Begin the day in the tranquil beauty of the Japanese Tea Garden. Next, at Sew Special Quilts, browse a colorful bounty of contemporary fabrics, trims, and patterns. Then it’s off to Fredericksburg, a storybook Bavarian village where gingerbread-style cottages, artisan boutiques, and mouthwatering German bakeries await. Return to San Antonio in  time to explore the galleries and shops of historic La Villita.

Start the day with a fun photo stop at Texas’ most legendary roadside attraction—Buc-ee’s—before continuing to La Grange. There, the inspiring Texas Quilt Museum showcases exceptional works in a 19th-century brick treasure of a building.
