Day 1 Arrive in Boston - Tour Begins

Welcome to New England, a region that feels stitched together with charm, tradition, and timeless beauty. As you arrive in Boston—one of America’s oldest and most storied cities—take in the crisp autumn air and the golden glow of fall foliage. From white-steepled churches to bustling marketplaces, Boston sets the tone for the journey ahead. This evening, gather with your Tour Manager and fellow travelers for a Kick-off Welcome Meeting. It’s the perfect time to get to know your travel companions and begin building the friendships and shared memories that will unfold throughout the week. Let the adventure begin!

Day 2 Boston - Manchester Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, venture out in Boston for a guided city tour along the Freedom Trail, passing iconic landmarks like the Old State House, Boston Common, and Faneuil Hall. Next, we’re off to the countryside—winding through storybook landscapes to Pickity Place in rural New Hampshire. Tucked into the woods in a 200-year-old red cottage (the inspiration for Little Red Riding Hood), this enchanting spot offers herb gardens, handmade treasures, and a seasonal lunch made with ingredients grown just steps away. After, enjoy fresh-pressed cider at Lull Farm, where local apples become liquid gold. Later, arrive in Manchester, New Hampshire, and check into our downtown hotel for a cozy overnight stay. B, L

Day 3 Manchester - Canterbury - Burlington Breakfast

Today begins with a scenic drive through New Hampshire’s backroads to the peaceful Canterbury Shaker Village. This historic site preserves the Shakers’ values of simplicity, community, and fine craftsmanship. Tour the village with an expert guide and learn about the Shakers’ way of life. After, browse the gift shop for handmade Shaker boxes, textiles, and preserves. Next, visit Night Owl Quilting Studio, a vibrant space brimming with colorful fabrics, creative energy, and just the right mix of traditional and modern inspiration. Later, we cross into Vermont’s Green Mountains and arrive in Burlington, a picturesque lakeside town that will be our home for the next two nights. B

Day 4 Burlington Breakfast, Dinner

Wake up to the beauty of Lake Champlain and the scent of fresh Vermont coffee. Our highlight today is the Shelburne Museum, a one-of-a-kind campus of historic buildings filled with folk art, Americana, and textiles. Meander through barns, homes, and galleries housing antique tools, dolls, and Early American quilts that whisper stories of the past. You’ll have time to explore at your own pace before returning to downtown Burlington for a bit of leisure time. Tonight, we dine together at a favorite local restaurant, where Vermont’s farm-to-table spirit shines in every bite. B, D

Day 5 Burlington - Woodstock - Ogunquit Breakfast

Experience Vermont at its autumnal best—curving roads, vibrant foliage, and timeless rural vistas unfolding around you. Visit Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks, a family-run sugaring operation where you’ll learn how maple syrup is made before sampling the delicious grades. Next, we visit Woodstock, one of Vermont’s most beloved villages, known for its charming shops, covered bridge, and quintessential New England feel. After lunch on your own, travel across New Hampshire and into coastal Maine. Check into our oceanfront hotel in the charming town of Ogunquit, your seaside home for the next two nights. B

Day 6 Ogunquit - York - Kennebunkport Breakfast, Dinner

Enjoy a leisurely morning in Ogunquit, where white picket fences, sea breezes, and beach roses frame this “beautiful place by the sea.” Take a stroll along the Marginal Way coastal path or browse the local galleries and boutiques. This afternoon, we’ll explore the historic coastal towns of York and Kennebunkport—perfect for last-minute shopping and seaside snapshots. Tonight, we celebrate our journey with a traditional Maine lobster dinner (with plenty of fixings, of course!) and raise a toast to new friendships, creativity, and unforgettable memories.
B, D

Day 7 Ogunquit - Lowell - Tour Ends Breakfast

After a sunrise breakfast in Maine, we make a meaningful stop in Lowell, Massachusetts—the birthplace of the American textile industry. At the New England Quilt Museum, you’ll marvel at 19th-century masterpieces and rotating exhibits that honor quilting’s deep roots and modern evolution. Your journey concludes as you head to the airport, taking home more than just fabric and photos—this trip is stitched into your memory, piece by piece. B
